Located at Desert Regional Medical Center, Comprehensive Cancer Center is an attractive and modern 49,000 square foot outpatient center for the detection, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of people with cancer. Recognizing the importance of providing comprehensive services "under one roof," the Center houses a medical oncology infusion center, physician offices and exam rooms, a radiation oncology treatment area, a "stat" laboratory for fast turnaround of treatment related labwork, a pharmacy, outpatient surgery facilities, a Comprehensive Breast Center, a Patient Resource Center, psychosocial and nutritional support services, a research department and financial counseling services. The medical complex is equipped with advanced technology and staffed with health professionals who have dedicated their careers to the treatment of cancer. The Center also operates satellite facilities in nearby Yucca Valley and Indio for the convenience of patients.
