Your Hospital Bill
|
|
During your hospitalization, you will receive only those tests, procedures and medications ordered by your physician. Your hospital bill will include those charges as well as charges for your room general nursing care, meals and support services.
Because physicians are considered independent contractors and not hospital employees, you will receive a separate bill for your physician’s services. You may also be billed separately by any physicians your doctor consults regarding your care, including your primary care physician, anesthesiologist, pathologist and radiologist.
