Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation at Desert Regional Medical Center provides services for the adult population.
Goal:
To start rehabilitation as soon as possible to help you reach your highest level of ability.

• Muscle weakness or paralysis
• Visual perceptual problems
• Speech or language problems
• Long or short-term memory loss
• Social judgement or behavioral problems
• Loss of bowel and/or bladder control
• Difficulty swallowing
• Difficulty walking
• Depression
• Verbal outbursts

• Intensive therapy
• Patient and family/caregiver education
• Assessment for equipment needs
• Individualized discharge planning
• Interdisciplinary orthotics assessment
• Group and individual therapy
• Behavior modification program
