There are certain criteria that must be met in order to be admitted into the acute inpatient rehabilitation program at Desert Regional Medical Center:

1. You must be diagnosed by a physician to have a condition requiring acute inpatient rehabilitation.
   
2. You must be medically  stable.
   
3. You must be able to tolerate a minimum of 3 hours of therapy per day.
   
4. You must need at least 2 or more types of therapy (Physical therapy, Occupational therapy, Speech/Language/Pathology).
   
5. Have a discharge plan.
