What is Acute Rehabilitation?

It's an interdisciplinary team approach to working with people who have an illness or injury that requires intense inpatient rehabilitative care.

How does the program work?

The program is based on a multidisciplinary team approach with the patient as the main player.  The active participation of your family
or caregiver is essential to success. You are up and dressed in day clothes for all therapies.  Therapies typically occur between 8:00am to 5:00pm daily.

Our team will train you to do as much as you can for yourself as well as provide hands on training for your family/caregiver so that they will be better able to assist you at home as necessary.
