A Comprehensive Team Approach

With the ultimate goal of healing wounds and preventing amputation, the Wound Care Center employs a multi-disciplinary team to help ensure continuity and promote successful treatment so that wounds may heal as quickly as possible. Led by a Medical Director, this team includes certified physical therapy wound care specialists, dietician, diabetic educator, and wound care nurses.

Individualized Care

Recognizing that every patient has special needs, treatment is based on individual plans that are developed following thorough assessments by the Wound Care Center’s experienced specialists. An extremely important element of the treatment plan is patient education, which promotes successful healing. Families, caregivers, including your personal physician, and home health agency personnel, if required, are encouraged to join in the education process.
