The oldest and most respected healthcare accreditation organization in the nation has ranked Desert Regional Medical Center’s performance in the delivery of Heart Failure and Pneumonia Care as exceeding the performance of most JCAHO accredited hospitals nationwide.*

UnitedHealth Premium Designation
Desert Regional Medical Center is proud to be designated by UnitedHealth as a UnitedHealth Premium provider of healthcare in the areas of joint replacement, cardiac care and interventional cardiology. The UnitedHealth Premium designation program recognizes physicians and hospitals that meet or exceed quality of care and cost efficiency standards. Evaluations are based on industry standards, including guidelines from the Ambulatory Care Quality Alliance (AQA)
