Lawrence William Serif, DO



 
    Dr. Serif received his undergraduate degree from Ohio State University in 1975. He completed his medical degree at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1980 returning to Columbus, Ohio for his internship and residency. During his senior year, he served as Chief Resident. His subspecialty exposure included Total Joint Arthroplasty and Hand Surgery. 
    Since beginning private practice in 1985, Dr. Serif has served as sports medicine team physician for many high school and collegiate programs. He was closely involved in the Orthopedic Residency training program at Doctor's Hospital West in Marysville, Ohio from 1987 until 2004, serving as Chairman of the Department for two years, and Chief Resident Trainer for an additional seven years. He relocated to Palm Springs, California in May of 2005. 
    Dr. Serif is Board-Certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedics. His special interests include General Orthopedics, Hand Surgery, Total Joint Arthroplasty, Orthopedic Trauma and Sports Medicine.
