M. Georgeta Varga, M.D.
Dr. Varga earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry in 1989. She received her medical degree in her native Romania in 1995, followed by a residency in Radiology in Romania, and a residency in Neurology at the University of Oklahoma. In 2009, Dr. Varga completed a two year Fellowship in Movement Disorders under the training of Jerrold Vitek MD, PhD at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, where she trained extensively in the diagnosis and medical management of movement disorders, including Botox injection treatment for dystonia, spasticity and sialorrhea, as well as evaluation of movement disorders patients for deep brain stimulation (DBS) surgery, intra-operative brain mapping, and post-operative implant device programming. Dr. Varga is Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
